Meet the Staff

Tom Hipp, Owner and Service Manager:
Prior to managing the repair business I owned a small used car dealership for a few years. It was here that I was drawn into the repair industry preferring the long term relationships to the one time purchases common in sales. I’m a licensed smog technician and I maintain the license even though most of my time is spent in the office. I;m the father of four great kids. My passion and hobby is technical rock climbing, business management, and marketing.

Sue Griswold:
Customer service representative. She is also in charge of legal and finance. Sue is tough and capable as she owned and operated a taxi cab business in Oklahoma City for some time before moving back here to Sacramento her home town. Sue is excited to be working with Tom her brother in this family business. I think you will find that she is very efficient and dependable. She is the go to person for customer service and is my right hand administrative assistant. She has experience working as a service advisor in a tire shop and will be handling some of the service advisory work to back up Tom. She is married to an awesome guy and has two grown children. Sue is a valuable addition to our team. Please allow her to serve you also.

After several years working on a farm in Washington State as a diesel tractor mechanic and general maintenance man I moved to Sacramento to be closer to my parents and attend Wyotech Technical Institute. I desire to move my technical skills into the automobile service industry. I’m used to working 18 hours per day on the farm. The 8 – 5 hours now seem too good to be true. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, climbing, and tennis.

Judy Hipp, Office Support and Administration:
I’m Tom’s mom and I love being part of the family business even though I only work a few hours per week. The entire staff is really like a big family to me. Everyone is so nice to work with. I’m also retired and lovin it. I teach a neighbourhood exorcize class twice per week and enjoy walking two miles every morning as the sun rises. I love to read and I burn through a book every few days. I enjoy traveling and RVing and recently took a trip to Alaska site seeing and hiking. I was born a New England-er and moved to Sacramento with my husband in 1962. I have travelled the United Statesand Canada extensively and am fascinated by and love reading maps. I work on Tuesdays so if you’re down say hi and we’ll have a conversation.
