My first time here. They were all great. I waited to get my oil changed. They took care of it quickly. This is my new go to for my cars. Thank so much for taking care of my car.

I found Standard Auto Care's website on the Internet. I simply searched under "Best Auto Service near me". I read about 30 reviews. Most were great some were not. I appreciated how the owner, Tom, took the time to answer each & every review with candor as well as his perspective on what was being portrayed in the reviews. Based upon those reviews and the fact that Folsom Jeep proved to me that they're a super RIP OFF, I decided to give Standard Auto Care an opportunity to prove to me that they are as good as 90% of their reviews stated that they were. I was not disappointed. From the time I walked into Standard Auto Care & met with Sue (who's been there for 10 years) & a new Office Rep, named Miguel, I was happy that I made the choice to give this business a shot. My check engine light had been on for weeks due to a canister (component that you stick the gas nozzle into when you refuel your car) leak that 3 other Mechanics verified was the cause of the check engine light being on after running diagnostics on my Jeep. Check this out...Folsom Jeep wanted to charge me $410.00 ($205 per hour for each component) to install a new $67 canister $67 & a $6 gasket that goes with the canister to seal out air. What a Rip Off. I refused to let them take my hard earned $ just because they're greedy & wayyy over-priced. So, I went ahead & purchased the 2 parts that I knew were needed to fix my jeep. I then brought those parts to Standard Auto Care to perform the service. I also asked them to do a synthetic oil change for me. I asked for Mobil 1 as the oil of choice. They said that they didn't have that product in stock but, would gladly purchase it for me & conduct the oil change. Bottom line. Standard Auto care replaced my canister & gasket and also went to Walmart & purchased 6 quarts of Mobil 1 for the oil change that I also needed. The entire cost for the canister repair & the synthetic oil change was less than $300!!!! I have zero doubt that Folsom Jeep would've easily charged DOUBLE THAT. Prior to the canister being repaired, I spoke to the owner Tom at length about what I thought was going on. I was impressed with his professionalism and "customer-first" attitude. It was apparent to me that he was telling me what I needed to have done & not what additional services he could perform to help me empty my bank account. My check engine light is off & my Jeep is running better than ever!!! THANK YOU STANDARD AUTO CARE. You now have a customer for life. Semper Fi. Greg B.

Standard Auto Care is actually one of the few places that actually care about their customers. Great customer service and honesty.

Always greeted and treated well. Service plan is explained at the time of drop off. Receipt and conversation is shared on how the car performed and any needed items for servicing in the near future. Reliable automotive service to bring your car to. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

This is a real professional and efficient operation with an emphasis on real. I appreciated their friendliness and helpfulness when I needed it during a difficult time. They took great care of us and our truck. Thank you!
