In summary, car work is good but customer service is terrible and very pricey. You can find better places to go to! The car service was good. But the receptionist had poor behavior and an attitude. I had let her know ahead of time at 1:15 that I had work at 5. She called and let me know my car was ready at 4. They did a lot of last minute things that could have and should have been done before they made the call to me that they waited to do until after I was there. It took them 30 minutes to give me my car, past the time she said the car was ready. Then last minute at 4:17 said they need to do a five minute drive around and asked if we wanted to wait for that or just take the car, we said we need to go because I have work at 5 (4th time telling her I have work at 5) then said ok they’ll pull it up front right now but I didn’t receive my car until 4:28 then tried to tell us that I need to get an oil change and more stuff done just trying to get more money out of me. Maybe bring in a respectable receptionist and you’d get returning customers.

I want to thank Standard Auto Care for their dedication to fixing my airbag system in my '14 Acura. I got the car from auction but on this vehicle the title was destroyed by the Washington state dmv for being wrecked and the only way to get it registered legally again was to have it pass a California state vehicle safety inspection which has recently been changed to include that all systems are functioning properly, including the srs airbag system with no warning lights on. And on my car the previous owner must have hit a curb which deployed the passenger dash airbag and locking the seat belts. I replaced most of the sensors and airbag and seat belts but couldn't get the airbag light to turn off. So that's where Standard Auto came in to help me out. It took about a week and I don't know how many hours, but they didn't give up and their expert mechanics traced down the damaged electrical parts and fixed the issue which allowed me to pass the state inspection. I highly recommend this shop if you need advanced mechanics or want you issue fixed the right way at a very reasonable price. Im sure they could have charged me more but it seemed that they were more concerned with fixing the problem than trying to get every penny they could. Thanks again
