We have earned a reputation for honest, thorough, and reliable auto repair for almost all makes and models of cars. The customer service is amazing at this place. Very kind and responsive. So, why only 3 stars? Well, they are very pricey. While I will likely take my vehicle back, I was charged $350 for an alternator for my car. The alternator list price at AutoZone, O'Rielly and Pep Boys? About $165, that's over double the retail cost for the part. Additionally, the invoice showed about 3 hours in labor and a test of the electrical system. They gave me a credit for the electrical system, but I think they charged me for the time it took to complete, which means I got charged for the test. I probably spent about $200-250 more at Standard Auto Care to get my car fixed. That said, I dropped the car off at 11 am, and they called me by 3 pm to say that it was fixed. They did give my wife a rose and put a little bag on candy in the car for the kids. They are kind of like Disneyland. You know you could go to Knotts Berry Farm or Magic Mountian for less, but will you get the same experience - no.

Honest people, I have gotten my Honda accord serviced by them, upfront and honest. They even gave me a free car to use while mine got an oil change.

Always a pleasure doing business here. Their inspection of vehicle during oil change identifies any problems quickly. They can then advise you whether it is something that can wait or should be taken care of immediately. Being a woman, some places take advantage of you, not so here. Sue, the primary contact in office, offers detailed explanations on what is needed. I trust in how they run their business. They do quality work and reward you with sweets and roses. The service you receive at Standard Auto is beyond only 5 stars...it is a 10!!! You feel like you have known the people who work there all your life. They are quick, efficient and have fair prices, believe me I checked. Call me a YELP shopper.. I usually always read the YELP reviews before I do business with anyone. As I said in another review, there should be an option to give 10 Stars!!! They even give you a ride back to your house and pick you up when you vehicle is ready. AND even if you are stupid enough to forget something (like I did), they will drive you all the way back to get it and then deliver you to pick up your vehicle with a smile!!

Great service! I have no clue about cars. Anytime I have to go to a dealership, I feel like I'm getting hustled and have no clue what they're telling me. Tom @ Standard Auto Care takes his time to explain what is causing the issues and how it can not only be fixed, but how future maintenance can help me avoid the same issues.
