What a great place, and great people! Standard Auto is my go-to car fix-it place. You get courteous service and excellent care here. My car is getting old, and all of its maintenance has been with Standard Auto, since it was a newbie. No pressure to get items fixed, they let you know what needs doing, and the timing of it is up to you.

Thankfully, they DO smog diesels! Staff is very kind and the environment is nice. Complimentary water, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Smells of awesome mintiness inside. The wait time isn't bad at all and they looked at my truck within about 10 minutes of checking in. A little out of the way for me, but to all diesel owners needing a smog, this is the place I'd recommend to go.

I brought my car in for an oil change, and they didn't try to add on extra services like window wiper blades or air filters like the quick places do. They did note a couple of items that may need service soon, and it's low pressure to make my own decision on when to have the service completed in accordance with our budget. I trust and highly recommend Standard Auto Care.

I couldn't have asked to be taken better care of. They towed my car to their shop for free, did not conduct any testing or perform any work without getting my authorization first, they even WASHED my car! The owner personally drove to my house to pick me up when my car was ready (for free), they gave me a rose and there was a cute little satchel of chocolates sitting on my seat when I got in my car to drive it home. My car works wonderfully now and they gave me a $25 certificate toward my next service. Their prices are a bit higher than I was hoping to pay, but definitely worth it for the level of customer service and care that my car and I both received!

Sue, Tom, and everyone there was super helpful I walked in with no appointment at around 4:30ish and they had my car fixed within the hour. I will be going back to them for sure for now on! 👍🏼

These folks are fantastic! Stopped in for a free check engine light reading, but ended up needing a smoke test and some evap repairs. I received a considerable discount because I had a post card from the mail, they moved fast on getting parts & performing labor, AND they have out of this world customer service! Very clearly a smooth running family operation... love that vibe. I'd tell anyone in the North Sac area to go see these folks for your vehicle repair needs- no joke! Thanks, Sue!
