Everyone should try out this place but especially women who always worry that they will be taken advantage of when they take their car into a shop. Ladies you won't feel this way here. They are awesome!! I had told my husband I was giving up the duty of taking the car to the mechanics because it stressed me out so much. I had a hard time understanding what was going on with the car and if I had to make a decision on what service to do I would have a knot in my stomache. That all changed with Tom the service advisor at Standard . He used visuals to explain things to me and I could finally understand what was going on and that my car needed the service. I hung around the shop and could hear Tom the service manager talk to other clients on the phone and I could tell he was trustworthy and had the wisdom to really take care of the clients first and not to just rack up a bill. Had my car repaired in here and got great customer service! Tom really works with the customer to figure out a plan to prioritize what needs to be done right away and what can wait so I didn't have to pay for everything at once. He's very good at explaining that regular maintenance is what keeps your car in great condition for many years!! I will be keep coming back for all my repair needs. It's nice to finally have an auto repair place that I can trust and not get taken advantage of because I'm a woman!

Picked my car up from here the other day. Got new tires and shocks and my car has stopped creaking and groaning! I've taken my car here several times and they always do great work. Plus they lend me one of their cars to drive while mine is in the shop, and that makes it more convenient to get my car repaired. Most importantly, the owner Tom understands that his customers are the most important part of his business and he does and excellent job of helping you to understand what is wrong with your car. He lets you know what needs to be fixed now and other things that may not be as important and you can put off for a couple of months. I always feel very comfortable taking my car here.

The customer service here is exceptional and they do great work! Prices are a little high sometimes but the clean mats and rose take some of the sting out. Totally honest, trustworthy and capable.

Finally an auto repair shop that I can trust. These guys do excellent work. They are honest and communicate well. They list out what suggestions to do for my vehicles. To top it all off, I get a rose when my car is serviced.Give this company a try when you need to bring your car in for service.Simply the best!!!

Tom is truly top notch! I was referred to him by one of his long-time customers when my A/C went out. After numerous testing with the latest technology in equipment, they found the issue. And let me tell you, it was much more than just being out of coolant. They ordered the part and had me back on the road in an ice box. Now it's colder than ever before and I felt that the cost was way more than fare for all the work they did. I can totally see why he has so many long-time customers. I feel like I've gained a friend that I can trust to keep my car at its best. Super professional, friendly, trustworthy and no matter where you live in the Sacramento area, he's well worth the drive. Could just end up being the most valuable drive you've taken in a long time!!!
